The Auckland Jazz Orchestra teams up with the fabulous Caitlin Smith to present their new album East of The Sun.

An unsung hero of New Zealand singing, Smith is renowned both for her range and emotional expression in front of the mic, and her work as a vocal coach to many of the country's top pop singers.

The band will breathe fresh life into well-loved jazz standards, including arrangements of tunes by Duke Ellington, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Johnny Mercer & more, alongside originals like Smith's Prayer for A Miracle and AJO trumpeter Mike Booth’s Auckland Harbour Suite.
